Microbial Activity

  • CO2 Burst: Measures microbial respiration as an indicator of soil biological activity and fertility.
  • Amino-bound Nitrogen (SLAN): Indicates nitrogen stored in organic matter and amino compounds, crucial for plant uptake.
  • Active Carbon: Reflects the carbon source available to microbes for enhanced soil vitality.

Nutrient Analysis

  • NPK and Secondary Nutrients: Assesses nitrate, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and calcium for balanced fertility.
  • Micronutrients (Zinc, Manganese, Iron, Copper, Boron): Tests essential trace elements that support metabolic plant functions.
  • Sulfur: Evaluates sulfur levels, important for amino acid and enzyme production in plants.
  • Organic Matter: Measures organic content for improved structure, water holding, and nutrient exchange.
  • pH and Buffer Index: Identifies soil acidity and buffering capacity to guide proper amendment.
  • Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) and Percent Saturation of Cations: Determines how well your soil retains and supplies nutrients.
  • Soluble Salts, Sodium: Flags salinity or sodium issues that could impair plant performance.

Physical Properties

  • Texture: Breaks down sand, silt, and clay ratios to inform irrigation and amendment strategies.
